Approved Document T: Guidance for washrooms

As of October 1st 2024, Part T is a new requirement in Schedule 1 of the Building Regulations 2010 affecting washrooms in workplace and public buildings.

We get it, washrooms are often one of the last spaces to be considered on a project. That said, they’re also one of the most important amenities in any building. With that comes a surprising amount to think about, from design and layout to legislation and compliance.

That’s where we come in. Our team are washroom specialists, so you don’t have to be. We’ve developed a series of CPD sessions, available online or in person, covering everything you need to consider when specifying a washroom for your next project. Better still, each session can be tailored to your sector – whether you’re working through Part T regulations on a commercial scheme or designing inclusive, student-friendly facilities in an education setting.
